Founded in 2021, Kashasha Mountain Development (KMD) is a company committed to cultivating high quality vanilla beans and other crops for domestic and international markets.
KMD is based in Kashasha, (Kitobo) Kagera region, in Tanzania. We produce natural, pure and GMO-free products. KMD will be the most recognized brand in the world. ​

QUALITY

  • Kashasha Mountain Development's (KMD) vanilla beans are the most coveted because of their quality. We are highly selective of the vines, organic compounds and mulch to ensure quality vanilla bean crop.

    Our staff takes extra care in looping each vine and create spacing that allows each plant to breath.

  • We protect our farms from excessive sun and potential contamination to assure optimal plant growth.

  • KMD ensures that plants have adequate pollination to allow for the necessary process for plant growth and maturity. We never rush to harvest our beans.

  • Our beans have culminated in exquisite flavors that satisfy even the most discriminating or selective buyers. This guarantees that customers and connoisseurs will experience the flavors, fragrance and rich taste that they have come to expect.
